Anastrozole sterling knight 1mg tablet (60 TABS)

Anastrozole is sold under the brand name Arimidex. Firstly, in 1995 Arimidex was approved by the FDA and came into the market. Anastrozole acts by inhibiting the enzyme through reversible competition, due for this reason this product is known as a type-II inhibitor and is known as non-steroidal drug. This type of inhibition is very selective and reversible upon clearance of the drug the enzyme retains its original state.

Chemical nature of Arimidex

Arimidex is the brand name of drug-containing anastrozole. Chemically anastrozole is named as 1, 3-Benzenediacetonitrile, a, a, a’, a’-tetramethyl-5-(1H-1, 2, 4-triazole-1-ylmethyl). The molecular formula of anastrozole is C₁₇H₁₉N₅. The molecular weight of anastrozole is 293.4. Acetone and ethanol are the solvents of anastrozole. Anastrozole is freely soluble in the above-mentioned solvents. Salt of Arimidex is a peasant in the white powder form.

Mode of action of that product

Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor and is involved in the conversion of androstenedione to estradiol and estrone inside the peripheral tissues. Hence the lower level of estradiol has no effect on aldosterone concentration in the body. Intake of that product with food effects the time of its retention in the plasma. After intake of that product, it is absorbed in the blood by the stomach lining and is metabolized in the liver. Metabolites of anastrozole are triazole. When this product is in the blood it performs its activity is to control the estrogen level into the body.

Normally, the recommended dosage for anastrozole is 1 tablet for one day. The administration route of that product is oral. Found in tabulated form. The patients using anastrozole for tumor suppression should continue this product until they get satisfied results. In various cases, the recommended amount varies according to the requirement of the patient. The user must be careful about the intake of dosage they should not exceed the intake from the recommended amount.
